Chemistry and Physics

Did you ever wonder why people act the way they do?  Blame the Laws of Chemistry and Physics.  Every action in chemistry or physics can be traced to one law:   All energy and matter tend to stabilize at the lowest possible energy level   and be in in equilibrium in all situations.  Undoubtedly, I am taking many liberties with all the various laws of science and physics but it is a concise summation.

People also fit into this category.  All of us tend to expend the least amount of energy (input) for the maximum  output.  That is called leverage.  You can imagine this when you use a crow bar to move a heavy weight.  Sitting on a seesaw is another example.  The further away from the center of the see saw that you sit, the more weight you can lift.

People also react in a similar fashion.  We would rather sit on our derriere and play with our computers, i pads, i pods, smart phones etc.  then do physical work or think.  How often have you heard that it is my right or I am entitled to  fill in the blank.  We all paid our dues.  We went to the best schools and became school teachers, engineers, sociologists, doctors, lawyers etc and then what.  Times change and what was desirable in the job market became less so.

Engineers became obsolete in less than 10 years unless they kept up in their  profession and their employer didn't consider it more economical to hire new graduates.  Teachers found that their were no jobs.  Consider what teacher and govt pensions and salaries are doing to most cities and states and you will see that fewer teachers and govt workers will be hired.   And if our educated elite is not doing too well, consider the greater multitude of persons who are uneducated and unmotivated, but they are entitled.  It is their right.

Obamacare, Obamaphones,  Food stamps ( now debit cards), rent subsidies, housing subsidies, milk subsidies, subsidies to grow or not grow a particular crop, subsidies to green energy production, where will it end.?

More and more energy is required to fulfill the wants and desires of all Mankind.  It has to come from somewhere.  When the energy ( money or/will to produce it) dries up, what then?  The system must implode.  Wii people be satisfied with less?  Or?

Or what?  It is possible to maintain our standard of living with a bit of common sense.  Is it possible to control the flow of money and securities in a more efficient manner, with a minimum of interference from both govt' and banking entities?  Instead of fining corporations for misdeeds ( The stockholders must pay) hold those responsible for their outlandish behavior with criminal charges.
